Parent Empowerment & Training

One of ADT’s greatest strengths is our Parent Empowerment and Training Program. We believe that progress in therapy should be process-dependent, not person-dependent. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when parents could not bring their children to therapy and had to step into the role of their child’s therapist, many faced significant challenges. Without proper preparation or guidance, children’s progress slowed, and difficulties increased.
At ADT, we recognize that with the right support and methodology, every parent can effectively support their child’s growth without solely relying on therapists or centers. Our program equips and empowers parents by developing strategies and tools tailored to their child’s unique learning needs. We understand that a one-size-fits-all approach does not work. Instead, we take into account each parent’s learning style, challenges, personal commitments, and available support systems.
Our goal is to enable parents to learn practical and feasible methods to support their child’s development and manage challenges more efficiently and effectively. We also work with caregivers and shadow teachers to ensure they have child-specific strategies to help children succeed in any setting. This collaborative approach fosters a supportive and informed environment, ensuring the child’s progress is consistent and sustainable.
