OUR PROGRAMS ARE CHILD CENTRIC

Early Intervention & Stimulation

At ADT, we recognize the critical importance of early stimulation in a child’s development. Our approach is centred on understanding the unique needs of each child and addressing developmental challenges and gaps with care and precision.
We create a nurturing atmosphere where children are encouraged to explore and engage in a safe, positive environment. Our team works closely with parents, providing training and support to help them understand their child’s needs and competencies. This ensures that each child is appropriately challenged, fostering growth and development without causing undue stress………..

School Readiness Program

Our “Path to Potential” School Readiness Program focuses on each child’s unique needs and developmental gaps. At ADT, we firmly believe that a one-size-fits-all approach does not work when preparing children for school.
We emphasize not only academic skills such as fine motor and gross motor development but also take a holistic approach that includes addressing emotional gaps, communication, comprehension, motivation, and learning styles. Equal importance is given to identifying and nurturing each child’s strengths while addressing their challenges…….

Language Development & Communication Skills

At ADT, we focus on fostering language and communication skills in an organic and natural manner, moving away from scripted and rote methods. Our approach emphasizes the child’s interests and motivations, following their lead to seize every opportunity to facilitate meaningful language and communication development……

Academic Skills

At ADT, we focus on building foundational academic skills while ensuring they are meaningful and relevant to the child’s environment. Our approach emphasizes skill-building in key areas such as reading, comprehension, and mathematics, using innovative, child-centric methods.
Learning to Read We introduce alphabets and sounds in a multisensory way, helping children understand that these sounds exist in their environment and have meaning beyond academics….

Functional Skills

At ADT, functional skills taught within the center are extended to real-world scenarios to help children gain independence and confidence. Activities include shopping trips, outings, managing money for transactions, taking auto rides, and visiting restaurants to order food. These experiences help children grasp the concepts of functional life skills through hands-on practice, often without the direct presence of parents or caregivers….

Behaviour Management

At ADT, we view behavior not as non-compliance but as a form of communication and a reflection of barriers or challenges in the connection. We see behaviour as a window into a child’s underlying struggles. Instead of addressing only the visible tip of the iceberg through compliance training or methods instilled through fear, we seek to understand the root causes of the behaviour.
Is the child using behavior to communicate something they cannot express with words? Are they experiencing cognitive overload due to our expectations? Is the child struggling to connect with themselves, their environment, or others in appropriate ways? These are the questions we aim to answer……

Group Sessions

Our group sessions focus on building social thinking and equipping children with essential skills such as social interaction, negotiation, emotional regulation, communication, understanding self and others, theory of mind, flexibility, and appropriate expression of emotions to name a few. Children are introduced to the constantly changing dynamics of the social world in a fun, engaging, stimulating, and culturally appropriate manner.
These sessions are thoughtfully planned, keeping each child’s social context, learning styles, and motivation in mind. Children learn that there is no single “right way” to interact…..

Play Therapy

We provide both individual and group play therapy sessions. Through the therapeutic power of play, children are supported in transitioning from one developmental stage to another, primarily in a child-directed manner and occasionally through directive approaches.
Play extends far beyond its perceived limits, empowering children to build self-esteem, confidence, communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and coping mechanisms for life’s challenges……

Parent Empowerment & Training

One of ADT’s greatest strengths is our Parent Empowerment and Training Program. We believe that progress in therapy should be process-dependent, not person-dependent. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when parents could not bring their children to therapy and had to step into the role of their child’s therapist, many faced significant challenges. Without proper preparation or guidance, children’s progress slowed, and difficulties increased.
At ADT, we recognize that with the right support and methodology, every parent can…….

Synergy Program

Synergy brings together individuals of all ages and backgrounds to build genuine friendships. It started as a simple idea to create a space where inclusion wasn’t just taught, but lived. Over time, it has become a movement that breaks barriers and builds belonging.
In Synergy, we’ve seen how friendships form naturally, guided less by adults, and more by mutual respect and shared joy. Young adolescents and young adults with neurodiversity plan activities with their buddies, make decisions, and look forward to every meeting. Together, they’ve explored parks, made music, celebrated festivals, and shared quiet moments of connection….

Internships

We take immense joy in sharing our space, knowledge, and experience with the younger generation, providing them with opportunities to be part of this impactful field of work. At ADT, we encourage internships and train students to learn the skills required to interact, collaborate, and work with children with special needs.
We believe that the younger generation brings unique energy and creativity to our community, which enhances the learning experiences of our children…..

Outreach

We have an exhaustive list of outreach programs, and we continually expand this area to provide a holistic experience for our parents and children. These programs aim to offer equal opportunities and respite for parents while creating meaningful experiences for children.
Our outreach programs are supported by dedicated volunteers from diverse sectors and age groups, fostering a sense of community where participants can interact and learn from one another…..

School Consultation

Our services extend to various other settings, including inclusive schools and special needs centers. In inclusive schools, we support by setting up spaces for SEN (Special Education Needs), training teachers to understand and manage children with special needs effectively and informatively. We also provide guidance on modifying teaching strategies and accommodations to ensure that children feel supported and experience success in their learning environment…..
